Privacy policy
Last updated: April 9, 2026
This is the human version of how PharmIntel handles your personal data. It is written to be readable. The legal terms in our terms of service still apply.
Who we are
PharmIntel operates an operational thesis desk for pharmaceutical intelligence. When this policy says "we" or "us," that is the team running this product. Contact: privacy@pharmintel.app.
What we collect
- Information you tell us directly. Your name, work email, organization, and anything you write in the request access form.
- Authentication information. If you have an account, we store your username, hashed password, and session metadata so you can sign in safely.
- Technical information. Standard request logs such as IP address (hashed for public visitors), user agent, and timestamps. We use this for security and to keep the service running.
- Cookies. See the cookie policy for the full breakdown. Strictly necessary cookies always run. Everything else is opt-in.
What we do with it
- Reply to your access requests and onboard you to the product.
- Authenticate sessions and protect against abuse.
- Run the service (server logs, error monitoring, security).
- Improve the product based on aggregate, opt-in usage signals.
Your rights under GDPR
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or any other jurisdiction with comparable rules, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
- Ask us to delete your data, where we are able to do so.
- Restrict or object to specific processing.
- Request a portable copy of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time, including via the Cookie settings link in the footer.
- File a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Email privacy@pharmintel.app and we will respond within 30 days.
How long we keep things
We keep access requests for as long as we are evaluating them or you are using the product. We delete them on request. Authentication data lives for the lifetime of the account. Server logs roll off automatically.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on infrastructure operated by reputable cloud providers in regions that support standard contractual clauses where required.
Updates
When we materially change this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date and re-prompt you for cookie consent if the cookie policy version has moved.
